Hey, thought we should have a place to say "Hi" and to get to know eachother. There's already over 30 people signed up for this site, and there's a few faces I've never seen before, so I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Since I started this thing, I'll go first:

I'm Tom Shannon. I work in the Denver office doing 3D work and technical stuff too. I've been working with PB and Company 39 for about 2 years now. My background is in 3D and real time simulations and games. I do everything from Max to Vray to Anark to Maxscript to Javascript to GEARS OF WAR.

I'm a pretty avid gamer. Mostly Xbox 360, but my PC has recently been given a new heart and World of Warcrack is calling my name... Unless World of Starcraft comes along...

I like walks in the rain and puppies too.

Tom you should also clarify that you are not a girl with a horrible name....your avatar might be throwing some people off....

anyway...

My name is Chris I work in Boston for PB's best Lighting Engineers, I do all there 3d work and fill my time with other 3D projects and sometimes 2D work covers, graphics, etc... I'm kind of a one man band out here doing everything from previz to post...jack of all, master of none.

I've been with PB for 6 years or so and my background is in Architectural Engineering.
I drink a lot of coffee and enjoy any kind of food on a stick.

~

My turn:

I'm Glen Loyd and I work in the Denver office (one of the few Colorado natives) as 3D modeling/animation, photo simulation, and all that other stuff.  I am usually blamed for any practical jokes and usually with good cause.  Once a month I bring in goodies for the 24th floor (non-healthy type).

Out of college I worked for a video game company for three years.  The only two titles I have credit with are "Shadows of Cairn" and "World Series of Poker".  Cairn was released with Dark Forces and Quake II and was an immediate flop.  WSoP is still poular as ever, and was just re-released this year for its third edition (I had nothing to do with the last two).  I also worked as a web designer back when their was only 37 html tags and quickly found it limited.  After that I taught middle school art before I was rescued by John Barden and started working here 8 years ago.

My music tastes are a bit weird (just ask the guys in my office) since I like industrial/electronica and I'm fairly picky about the style.  While in college I played bass in a band called Bok-R-Tov (Aramaic for "a good cow").  Our style was not anything mainsteam, but we had a blast playing all the fun places in Boise, ID.

I've been married for almost 16 years and have two year old twins Grace and Quinn.  They have certainly added a new dimension to home life.  I really appreciate being able to see the world through their eyes and often wonder how I ever survived at their age.

Heyas! I'm Tracey White. I sit in a cube in the Denver Company 39 office. I do 3D stuff sometimes...where's that "modern" modifier, and what the heck is nude buttercream?

When I'm not sitting here, I'm sitting in the caar to/from work or sitting at home playing Evercrack 2 with my wife, or working on my car (https://home.comcast.net/~tracey.white/) or playing with the kids.

Sometimes I'm serious...but not often.

Well I spose its my turn.

I'm Luke Cottle from the Brisbane office in Australia. I wrestle crocodiles, fight with drop bears and always like to throw another shrimp on the barbie. When I was young i used to ride a kangaroo to school.

But if I were to introduce myself seriously, I'd tell you that I've been with PB for a little over 2 years, doing all their 3D and the like with Mike, whom we finally shipped off and threw on your doorstep (suckers). I used to be an avid gamer, but I spose I dont play as much any more (I finally beat the world of warcraft addiction).

My main hobby (and money pit) is photography, and 2nd to that is geocaching (what can I say, I'm a nerd? www.geocaching.com for those that dont know)

I think my next step in my 3D career is to learn maxscripting in detail.

I also have problems spelling, hence why I'm editing this post already...
