I have been browsing other forums and I saw Matte Painting challenges on cgtalk, threedy.com. ... maybe we could have something like that on there? Or photo sim challenges?

Part of the reason I am posting this is because since I do photo sims at work and I am a bit rusty still ... I would like to get some practice in. Practice in a fun way!

Over and out dudes!

Great idea, although Claudio nailed it with participation.  We had a contest last year that I thought would be great fun.  I even had some slick prizes donated from Autodesk.  Nothing....

I think once our member base gets to a certain level we'll try some contests again.  We can look at something that is small and quick.  One member suggested modeling 3D content that could be distributed to the pbviz.com community.  Bragging rights and hopefully prizes (pending sopme sort of funding), but a benefit to everyone.
