| Its an awesome machine, i cant get over how good it actually is, i have had a 360 in the past and while it was a good console the ps3 is shades ahead. I would recommend to anyone, especially this year with some good titles getting released.

How can you afford a PS3 over there? Holy moly! PB is payin' you too much
I've been tempted, but there's so few 'special' games for it (where the heck is Gran Turismo already?). Now that Final Fantasy is on the 360, the netflix streaming on my 360 and the crazy prices for the PS3, I'm quite content.
PS I'd love to have a machine that wasn't about to break constantly. I'm on 360 #3 and it's starting to sound a bit strained.
PPS I'm actually spending more time with my DS these days. GTA: Chinatown wars is a work of art.

I have a PS3 and the PSP, and I love them both. You're right the PS3 is an awesome machine, I do a lot with it not only games. One thing is the Bluray player, it still rates as the best BR player you can buy. Once you go BR you don't go back. My kids are watching Cars in BR right now, and it just look effing amazing.
My psn is Brows33. Right now I'm waiting for Infamous to come out but I just wrapped up Fallout 3 and when I get time I play Burnout.

| awesome, i will add you to psn if i remember. At the moment im working through burnout, have about 3 more trophies to get before i get platinum, my other game of choice will have to be Killzone 2, awesome game, pure poetry in a game. I have a large (ish) catalogue of games and also PSN downloaded games so my gaming is varied to say the least. I also agree that the BR player alone is worth the pricetag. and the reliability is awesome. Chris - what other games do you own?

| Just finished Infamous and seeing as this topic touched on it I thought I might drop by and say that game was "Awesome". I've had a ps3 since launch as well here in Australia and haven't regretted it for one second. I think if they keep bringing out great exclusives like Infamous then the future of the PS3 is in safe hands. Any of you guys tried it as a render node? My mate and I tried it and it works great with rendering stuff in real-time. It's just not that great at rendering large images and saving them out due to lack of ram.

I'm almost done with InFamous, and I really like. I think the normal mode is a bit too easy, I haven't tried Hard mode yet...and I doubt I will unless they come out with DLC.

Drakes Fortune 2 looks incredible. If Sony gives me a price drop, I might have to pick up a PS3 just for that game. I played Infamous at Gamestop and it's pretty cool. A lot like Crackdown meets GTA. It took a long time for the PS3 to start showing its colors, but it's really gaining momentum now
If it only had a better version of Worms, i could probably convince the wife to get one
