Yeah we should really try to kick start this site again. I've been asking a lot of questions lately if you guys haven't noticed already and it's been great hearing back from other people on how they fixed similar problems in 3dsmax. I don't mind flicking through the off topic stuff every now and then.

Is forum membership open to anyone?  Since being invited to join by Glen in Denver, (Thank you BTW) I have not really spread it around because I assumed it was intended for PB folks.

I am currently involved with some FHWA groups that are trying to put together some resources for us Design Vis types.  Since visualization resources devoted to Civil Engineering projects are few, this site would be a great addition to the list.  I know I always enjoy seeing what the Masters are up to.

A pulse helps.  The initial push out was focused on PB employees, but it opened up to the "outside" community with the invitations I sent out.  Feel free to pass it on.  I have it listed on my LinedIn profile and at a couple other industry related sites I haunt.  The more the merrier, I say.

Nah.  Don't let that statistic bug you.  A pulse is only the first prerequisite of 627 and it keeps the search bots from joining.  And you are still a member.  Those that lost their pusle are not longer members.  I think I weeded out about 40 inactive members recently.  Kind of a shame, although I don't visit tother forums that I'm a member of daily.  In fact I just got railed by another CG Architect member for responding to a 3 years old post.  How lame is that?  Practice what you preach...

Some.  There were a bunch of PB employees that are still employed, but non-existant on the "activity chart."  What's interesting is that there are several former PBers that are pretty active here.  I try to keep up with email/employment changes.  Obviously, I'd like to see more involvement by everyone, but I try not to let it bug me (too much).  I think the percentage of active to total is about normal.  Visits are counted as active.  Posts are what keeps things moving.
