HDR process?

Most definately. Where was it taken?

I'm not really looking for a right/wrong answer, but I am interested in listening to anyone who is willing to take a little time to study the image and perhaps breakdown how they think it might have been created.

The whole point is to invite participation to the post and encourage some creative thinking.

Who wants to play?

I'm in.  So far I can pull out two reflections; one horizontal and one vertical.  Which side?  Couldn't tell you for sure, but I'd guess the upper left is the actual image that's reflected.  It's really similar to the process Lucas used in the original Star Wars flims (the ones that didn't suck; another discussion).  The location looks like a new construction site with all the exposed HVAC and jusnk that gets hidden by walls and ceilings.  I love the effects...

So if it's reflected (mirrored), how would you explain that it holds perspective?

You mean reflections loose perspective?  Only in Escher's work

All aspects of perspective will be constant even if reflected.  It's not creating a flattened version, but a reversed copy.  The quality of the refection is based on the reflecting surface and its angle.  In the image below you can see the perspection "continuing" in the reflection on either side:

Nice image and I understand what you are saying, but my image is not doing exactly what this image is doing even though it is mirrored.

Why?

Damn! I can't argue with that Glen...

I will put that to use as a blanket answer myself!
