Didn't know where to post this question really so I put it in here. Hope thats ok?

I'd like to start working on some solo projects of my own at home to develop my skills and wondered if there was any resource sites i could download high(ish) resolution architectural blueprints and plans to use as a base without the risk of anyone getting upset about it?

Ideally I would love to start with a football / soccer stadium as thats another of my passions and to combine the two would be a good start. But I wasn't sure if it was possible to get hold of anything like this without having to request permission or buy them etc.

Hmm.  Plans for public places are hard to come by these days.  10 years ago it probably wouldn't be a problem.  My only suggestion is to do some digging to see if PB Facilities has any projects like that and who might be able to provide you with simple plans.  Not a great answer, I know.

I have been able to find plans for houses easily enough just by searching for "House Blueprints."  However, don't be surprised if the Secret Service starts monitoring your internet activity if you search for "stadium plans..."

If you find anything .... free, and usable without getting permission, let me know.

Thanks Glen. I will have a look around on the net, hopefully Big Brother will be having a day off and I won't get in any trouble.

I will post on pbviz.com if I find anything and if I produce anything relatively decent from them.

Here's a link with some nice blueprints available.  I don't see any stadiums, but certainly some interesting model building reference...

if you wanted to do a home, you could purchase one of those new construction home magazines at the bookstore. They have full floor plans and elevations for all types of homes.
