All of you Photoshop masters probably know these, but I'll post them anyway because they havent been said yet.

- Hold 'Spacebar' while in any tool and it turns into the Hand tool, when you let go, it goes back to the tool you were using (useful for moving around when you're zoomed in on a large image

- Hold 'Alt' while in any tool and use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out.

- The 'X' key swaps the colours in the pallette ( I find this is really helpful when using layer masks and you need to constanly switch from white and black)

- In any brush tool, the '[' and ']' tool increases and decreases the brush size.

- In any brush tool, if you right click anywhere on the canvas, the brushes pallette opens.

- A quick way to duplicate a layer is to be in the Move tool (V), hold Alt and drag.

That's about all I can think of off the top of my head at the moment, hopefully they help someone.

I guess this is a bit old school but maybe useful to some..

LAYERING: duplicating object to be on the same Layer

- Hold Ctrl + pick on Layer thumbnail on Layer palette menu to highlight selection then Hold Ctrl+Alt then drag the layer to copy object on same Layer.

MAXIMIZING workspace

- Press TAB to have a full view of your workspace on your screen then you can press F3&F4(copy-paste) F5-F9 to show desired working palettes. Press TAB to go back to normal mode. This should be useful if you're working on large & detailed images.

- To either zoom in & zoom out just hold Ctrl then press + or - button.
