Okay, I've done this before, but for the life of me I can't remember how.  Here's the problem: I have a concrete post that I'm Snapshotting along a path (no problem if the path was flat, but this one follow a terrain).  If I check "Follow" the post will rotate in the "X" and "Y" axis as well as the "Z".  I've tried locking the Link Info "X" and "Y", but zero effect when I Snapshot.  Does anyone remember how to allow an oject to follow a path and only rotate in "Z"?

I generally just do the snapshot then select all the posts and set the x and y rotation to 0. Just make sure you've selected to transform in view space on the individual pivots rather than the selection center or in local.

HEre is another option that might be helpful. It's a script called obj2spline align and you can find it here:
