| A photosim? Yeah I'll leave that one to you. I did have luck rendering very rudamentary stereoscopic images of a tree out of Vue - haven't yet tried a twin-camera setup in Max. I'm one of the freaks who can view parallel stereo images - and the exercise in creating one was fun, but I'm having trouble achieving that "Pandora" look...maybe another week or two... Did you read that they used Massive to create the forest on Pandora?!? Amazingly brilliant.

Glen Loyd (1/20/2010) I saw that too. Some things that are skewed have more. It's an interesting idea and still in beta. No doubt it will improve. Who wants to take on a photo sim with this..?

So, are they taking the two photos, 3" apart, and then interpolating the frames between them?

Ramsey (1/22/2010) So, are they taking the two photos, 3" apart, and then interpolating the frames between them?Exactly. The trick would be with portraits and getting the people to sit still. There was a whacky "stereo camera" advertised on the site too off to the right. That would solve the problem.

| That "wacky stereo camera" was invented by my mother. You've just insulted my heritage. No, seriously, that makes sense. And it makes the the dolphin with water droplets shot even more impressive.
