So the CADD Associate Cert. program is now accepting applications for consideration....

When will PB recognize their Viz employees an have a Design Viz Associate program?

or do we not care as a community?

We certainly care and are investigating what needs to be done to set up a DV Associates Program. I Had a discusison with Frank Ryan (CADD PAN), and he explained the process they went through to get it recognized by PB. It did take several years to get it set-up and approved. As we grow within PB I think we will have more pull to get things like Associate Programs initialized.

I'm guessing that it will be a combination of DV staff numbers and workin up the documentation. It's something that will have to be done in spurts since we are expected to be "billable" and such. 2-3 years would be my guess. I have the documentation that CADD Services worked up so we can modified most of it to relect our indusrty. It's generating enough people that qualify to apply that's the biggst obstacle.
