Welcome to pbviz.com forums!  As you may already know, this area is a great resource for information or having questions answered by all sorts of experts.  It's also a great place for you to share what you know with others who have questions.  Below are some simple tips for staying involved in the pbviz.com community:

1. Subscribe to your posts.  Whether you were the originator of the topic or not, you have the option to subscribe to topics that you post in.  After you have typed up your reply and uploaded any attachments, there is a "Topic Subscription Notification Type" located below in the "Post Options" box.  Simply select "Immediate Email Notification" before posting your reply.  You will then receive an email when someone has replied to that topic.

2. Subscribe to areas of interest.  If there is an area that you are knowledgable about, you can sign up to receive an email notification when a new topic is posted in that are.  It only takes a few moments and you always have the option to unsubscribe.  In each forum (i.e. 3D Applications & Techniques) there is a drop down list located on the far right of the title bar called "Forum Options."  Simply left click and select "Subscribe to Forum" from the list.  You will then be redirected to a "Notification Type" page where you have the option to select whether you would like immediate notification or not.  Once subscribed, you will get an email letting you know when something new has been posted within that forum.  Easy enough?

3. Participate!  This site needs your involvement.  You may hold the keys to someone succeeding with their project or not.  Get an avatar and fill out some of the personal stats to give your user account an identity.  Also, logging in can be made automatic so you won't have to worry about remembering your password everytime you visit the site (use that handy little checkbox on the log-in page).

4. Visit frequently.  Newly posted forums and topics are highlighted in bold in the right column.  This gives you a brief overview of the last topic and member that was addressed in that forum.  Weekly newsletters will give you links to new or interesting areas with in the forum.

See you on the boards!
